STEAM Educators

Precinct4Forward (“P4F”) is seeking seven (7) qualified contractors to deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) subjects at various community centers across Precinct 4. Contractors will work part-time during the summer, leading STEAM programming for students ages 5 to 13. Contractors may include both experienced educators and emerging teachers; applications from novice teachers are highly encouraged.

Overview

Contract Rate: $35-$55/hour, rate based on experience and qualification Schedule: Part-time, 14 hours/week for 7 weeks Contract Dates: June 8-July 30, 2026.

• Program Dates: June 8 – July 30, 2026
  Please plan to complete two (2) paid onboarding and training sessions on May 16th and June 6th from 9am – 1pm at Radack Community Center.

• Weekly Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3.5 hours per day.
  Direct instruction will occur 1-3pm, with an additional hour from 12-1pm to prep and thirty (30) after 3pm to clean up.
