Wendy Hall is an accomplished communications professional with extensive global experience in developing and implementing public affairs, community outreach, and public relations programs that strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
In her role at Daikin, Wendy leads internal communications and plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience by engaging team members in Daikin’s People-Centered Management philosophy. Through her work, she fosters stronger connections across the organization and advances key business priorities. She also develops and executes community outreach initiatives designed to create meaningful business and social impact, building partnerships that establish Daikin as a valued member of the greater Houston community.
Wendy has successfully led high-impact initiatives, including the communications strategy for transitioning thousands of employees to the Daikin Texas Technology Park (DTTP). Her leadership helped achieve an 85 percent employee retention rate during the relocation process. She was also a key contributor to the grand opening celebration of DTTP, an event that generated over 12 million media impressions and welcomed nearly 5,000 community members to commemorate the facility’s inauguration.
Her excellence in the field has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Houston Chapter, which named her Public Relations Professional of the Year for her outstanding work in public relations and crisis communications.
Wendy’s career includes leadership roles with a multinational oilfield services company, a public relations agency, a space-themed attraction, and even the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile program. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is married with two daughters.
