Harry Masterson

A native Houstonian, Harry Masterson is a respected leader in the real estate industry with strong ties to the local community. With a career dating back to 1994, Harry has built an extensive track record in real estate, specializing in large land transactions and Quality Planned Developments (QPDs).
As Managing Principal at EMBER, Harry sets the vision and long-term strategy for the company’s projects, focusing on bringing the right stakeholders together and shaping bold ideas into innovative, actionable concepts. He also leads efforts to uncover new business opportunities and build strategic industry relationships.
Before founding EMBER, Harry was the principal founder of both the Cernus Group and Concourse Companies, where he has successfully created the vision and developed a comprehensive plan for over 14 communities from the raw dirt stage, overseeing sight selection, initial conceptualization and beyond. Harry is the visionary behind The Grand Prairie in Precinct 4, which was not only home to a pilot project with the Harris County Flood Control District, but was also ranked asthe #1 top selling new community in Texas in 2024. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) honored him with the "Developer of the Year" award in 2010 and the GHBA HOME Political Action Committee (HOME-PAC)"Lifetime Trustee" award in 2024.

A licensed real estate broker in Texas, Harry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. Outside of his professional life, he and his wife Kathy enjoy spending time at their farm with their daughter and twin sons.
